Privacy Policy Addendum for Nebraska and Texas Residents

I.  Scope


This addendum to the Lundbeck Privacy Policy describes the rights of consumers residing in the states of Nebraska and Texas with respect to their PII.  For purposes of this addendum, a “consumer” means a resident of Nevado or Texas acting in a personal or household context, not in an employment context or as a representative of any organization.

 

This Addendum does not apply in any other context.

 

We may update this Addendum and provide notice of such updates in the same manner as described in the “Your Consent and Policy Updates” section of the Lundbeck Privacy Policy. 

II.  Your Privacy Rights

 

If you are a consumer residing in Nebraska or Texas, you have the following rights with respect to your PII: 

 

• The right to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your PII and to access such data, including to obtain a portable and readily usable copy of your PII that is available in a digital format; 

 

• The right to correct inaccuracies in the PII we maintain about you;    

 

• The right to have your PII deleted, subject to certain exceptions; and

 

 • The right to have your PII deleted, subject to certain exceptions; and

You may make a request on your own behalf, and if you are the parent or guardian of a minor child, you also may make a request related to your child’s PII.  If you wish to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, please provide us with a signed declaration stating that your intent is to permit that individual to act on your behalf and include such individual’s full name, address, email address, and phone number.  That way we will be sure you have fully authorized us to act in accordance with the requests of that individual.

 

In order to protect your PII from unauthorized disclosure or deletion at the request of someone other than you or your legal representative, we require identification verification before granting any request to access, correct, or delete your PII.  We take special precautions to help ensure this.  We cannot respond to your request or provide you with PIII if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the PII relates to you.   

 

We endeavor to respond to consumer requests within forty-five (45) days of their submission. If we require more time (up to 45 additional days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

 

If you make a request and it is denied, you may appeal that decision by describing the nature of the request and why you believe it should have been granted in the Contact Us form here, and/or by contacting the Nebraska Attorney General  or the Texas Attorney General , as applicable, through the links provided here.
