Employee benefits

Lundbeck offers a competitive salary and a number of fringe benefits. Specific benefits and salary packages are negotiated locally by our subsidiaries and adapted to local conditions. Lundbeck employees in Denmark are offered a variety of fringe benefits.

Pensions and insurance
Lundbeck (White Collar employees) contributes with 10% of an employee’s salary into a pension scheme – with the possibility of an additional voluntary employee contribution of up to 10% Lundbeck offers pension-consultancy services by an independent pension broker

All employees are covered by our health insurance policy, which ensures fast treatment. Coverage for spouses/cohabiters and children is also available on favourable terms.

Health
Lundbeck also offers a large number of other attractive benefits to employees. These include a subsidised cafeteria, sports clubs, free psychologist services. Lundbeck Sport is our sports centre where you can practice different sports activities and you can be offered massage, zone- and physiotherapy at favourable terms.

Family and leisure
Lundbeck employees have six weeks paid vacation/days in addition to the public holidays. Additional paid holidays may be granted in connection with various occasions such as moving to a new home or final examinations.

Lundbeck offers up to 30 weeks maternity leave with full pay; the last 12 weeks can be taken either as maternity or paternity leave. New fathers are also eligible for two weeks paid paternity leave after the birth of the child.

Lundbeck also offers the use of holiday homes or flats in Denmark and abroad and various discount programmes and cultural activities (art club, wine club etc.)

A flexible benefits scheme has also been introduced in Denmark.
